Cutting your hair regularly is the best solution for both “hair treatment” and prevention, for a healthy looking hair. The more you avoid cutting your hair, the more damage your hair will be, making it look frumpy and with lack of brightness. If, however, the hairstylist is the last solution you want to try to repair damaged hair and split ends, then you’ll be glad to know that there are treatments for split ends that not only will prevent hair damaging but also will greatly improve the already damaged hair.
The warm oils treatments to get rid of split ends
Warm oils penetrate into hair’s depth, restore integrity, help to retain water and prevent splintering. The hair looks healthier, hydrated and detangled.
Method of application: You can use any type of oil, but the most recommended are coconut oil, almond oil, castor oil and olive oil. Make a mixture of equal parts of the above 4 oils, warm it up and apply it to the split ends. The oil should be hot, but not very hot so you can be able to apply it with your fingers. Be careful not to hurt yourself! Let the oils work for about 45 minutes (or even overnight) and then wash your hair with your regular shampoo.
