In the morning, we have so little time to take care of our skin properly, that’s why the perfect time to do that is in the evening.
During the night, our body temperature allows serum, creams and masks to be completely absorbed into the skin. Beauty treatments work best when we are relaxed, and sleep is our best ally.
Night cream with green or white tea
Both teas contain antioxidants that fight against free radicals and help the skin to regenerate. They are also effective in relieving psoriasis and rosacea. If you have acne, the cream acts as an antibacterial agent.
– 700 grams of beeswax
– 30 grams of almond oil
– 30 grams of coconut oil
– 1 teaspoon of rose oil
– 2 teaspoons of white or green tea (or 2 teaspoons of dry herb)
How to prepare
Mix all ingredients, without the tea, in bain-marie until they melt. Meanwhile, fill a cup of hot water and leave it to infuse for a few minutes with 1-2 bags of green or white tea. Pour the tea over the melted preparation and mix well. You can add in the composition the herb inside the tea bag.
After the beeswax is melted, allow the mixture to cool for 1-2 minutes, and then pass it through a very fine sieve.
The last step is to cool the cream obtained by mixing it with a hand blender until it gets a smooth and fluffy consistency.
How to store it
It’s better to keep it in a cool and dark place. Don’t put it in the refrigerator because it will strengthen. The cream has a long shelf life because it contains oils. If you use it daily, it’s enough for one month.
How to use
First, wash your face, dry it, and then apply the cream with circular motions, until the skin absorbs it completely.
In the morning, wash your face with cold water and optionally with a gentle cleansing gel.
