It may seem surprising, but hemorrhoids have become one of the most common diseases in the world, with about 75% rate. The main causes of this condition are sedentary lifestyle, constipation and chaotic or fiber-free diet.
Hemorrhoids are bumps located in the rectum and can be located both inside the rectum and externally. The moment they become inflamed (the moment the blood is pumped into that area) they become very painful.
Various treatments are available for internal hemorrhoidal disease. Not all people will require an office procedure or surgery. For milder or occasional symptoms, the following treatments can help soothe the pain:
1. Herbal tea combinations
Tea made from chamomile, knotweed, sea bass will be of great help if you want to treat your hemorrhoids.
Mix these plants in equal proportions and leave them infused for 10 minutes in a mug of boiling water. 20 minutes before the main meals drink a cup of tea. Do this for 1 month. At the same time, try to do a little sport.
2. Clay poultices
If you suffer from external hemorrhoids, you can tray clay poultices. Mix 5 tablespoons of clay with lukewarm water until you get a paste. Apply that paste to the inflamed area and let it work for 2 hours. For best results, apply this paste every day for one month.
Cabbage is another natural remedy that can be used in treating hemorrhoids. Tear a cabbage leaf and apply it to the affected area. Let it act a few minutes and repeat the procedure every day for 2 months.
4. Wormwood sitz bath
Sitz baths are very effective in relieving hemorrhoidal pains. Wormwood is the most recommended plant in treating hemorrhoids due to its calming and astringent properties.
In addition to wormwood, we recommend using oak bark tea as it has a healing effect.
Mix two teaspoons of each plant in three liters of hot water. Do the sitz bath for approximately 20 minutes and repeat it every three days for one month.
5. Aloe Vera
This remedy treats both swellings and bleeding hemorrhoids. Cut the Aloe Vera leaves in half, heat them a little and apply to the affected area.
You can also apply frozen aloe leaves to the affected area.
