All pimples begin as a pore blockage or comedo. When bacteria infect a comedo, or it is irritated by squeezing, inflammation occurs.
Nothing ruins a good night’s sleep more than the surprise arrival of a giant pimple to greet you in the morning. Lurking under the surface of your skin, inflamed acne is the most frustrating kind, as its life cycle lasts longer than your average blemish.
Here are the most effective 3 masks to dry out inflamed pimples:
Grate a medium-sized potato. Add a pinch of salt, half an egg white (beaten) and a teaspoon of powdered oatmeal flakes. Mix well.
Apply this mask to problem areas, leave it 20 minute then wash with lukewarm water. Cleanse the area with an oily skin lotion.
Mix yeast with hydrogen peroxide (3%) until a paste is obtained. Apply it on each pimple using a cotton swab. Do this in the evening before bed. Leave it overnight and wash it the next day with lukewarm water.
Honey and citrus mask
Mix one teaspoon of honey with lemon or orange juice. Apply it on each pimple with a cotton swab. After drying, apply a second layer. Repeat 4-5 times.
