Most Effective Face Masks That Will Dry Out Your Pimples

Having pimples is a common problem for everyone, regardless of the age. Having pimples as an adult is happening more and more and everyone has a specific area on the face affected by this issue. A pimple is the result of a combination of factors: sebum excess, dead skin cells and bacteria. The pimples are formed when the pores get clogged with sebum and dead skin. The situation gets worse when bacteria is added and is creating a small infection. The clogged pore will be inflamed and the area will be red and swollen.

I am sure you heard that you should wash your face a lot, stop putting make-up, stop eating chocolate and many other myths related to the pimples. All of them have nothing to do with getting rid of the problem. The only type of food you should avoid if you have pimples is the one that makes the sugar level in the blood high and creates inflammation in the body, like dairy products, especially milk, and all the carbs. The good fats will not be the reason for pimples. Other real causes for this problem are hormones, pregnancy, birth control pills and some medicine like corticosteroids.

The best natural marks that will dry out pimples:

• Cornstarch and vinegar

Mix two tablespoons of cornstarch with vinegar to create a paste. Apply it on the pimple with a gauze and wash it with warm water after 30 minutes.

• Garlic and aloe vera gel

Crush three garlic cloves and mix it with one tablespoon of aloe vera gel. Apply the mask on the affected area and leave it for 10 minutes.

• Oatmeal and cottage cheese

Blend half cup of oatmeal and then mix it with three tablespoons of low fat cheese. The creamy paste should be applied on the face in a thick layer and kept for 20 minutes. Clean it with warm water and let your face dry by itself. Use a tonner as a final touch.

• Lemon, honey and yogurt

Mix together one tablespoon of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey and one tablespoon of yogurt. Put everything on your face and clean it after 10 minutes. The lemon has vitamin C and citric acid that help exfoliate the skin and eliminate the sebum, the honey is antibacterial and the yogurt will act as a moisturizer for your skin.

Natural homemade remedies are successfully used since ages and have no side effect on your skin. Using chemicals on an already irritated skin is not a good idea, so next time you have a pimple on your skin try to check for solutions in your kitchen instead of going to the pharmacy. No matter which of the home remedies you will use, don’t forget that a proper skincare is the key for prevention.
